Demonstration of Sonication and Microwave Processing of Essential Chemicals (SIMPLI-DEMO) - II
Dr Aaron Chen - PostdocThe scientific objectives of the project are to gain understanding on how the presence of solids or air affecting the propagation of fluid displacement in a COBR; to explore and identify methods of optimizing and enhancing fluid displacement and to establish kinetic models to predict the fluid displacement for COBR of various length and diameters. The technological goal is to be able to provide operational protocols and assistances in zeolite synthesis in a industrial setting.
Aaron obtained his MSc degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry and his PhD degree in Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
